The original roadster was built by Mercedes in the mid 1930s only 50 times as the successor of the legendary SSK. The very few olriginal cars left today have an assumed value of over 5 million Euro.

The Mercedes 540 K, one of the main attractions of the CarMANT-Fleet, shows from the outside the glamour of the Golden 30s and under her hood the technical luxury of the 1990s. She is an original reconstruction by Heritage Motors, Miami, USA, built in 1992 based on a Chevrolet Corvette with Sport-Automatic-Gear and nearly 300 HP.

This signal-red roadster flies in accompanies by an irresistable sound and the five chrome spoke wheels award optically wings to her. The split hood, the twin fanfares, the big fog lamps as well as the two chromium spot lights reinforce the “I-am-flying-feeling”. Once sitting in the dark-red leather seats, you get the fedeling and ascend to 7th heaven.
