Mercedes 350 SLC

The white star CarMANT 350 SLC

with style in class is the right classic car for “just-in-love-ones” but also for “long-term-in-love-ones” who want to spend a romantic weekend maybe together with friends or family members. Pure treat, rigth from the beginning!

The Sportcoupé (SLC) was introduced in October 1971 during the Paris Automobil-Salon. Most of these cars were sold to the USA because they were then benchmarks in the 1970s and following years for sportiness, elegance and reliability including the touch of luxury of the upper class.

SLCs took part in the 30,000 km Vuelta à la America del Sud (1977), the Safari-Rallye (1979) and the Bandama-Rallye (1979/1980) through the svannas of the Ivory Coast 1979 over 5,600 km when Mercedes-Benz finished with the first 4 winning places, long distance rallye London–Sydney 1977 with 1st, 2nd, 6th and 8th win.

Her flat roof with the integrated electrical sliding sun roof prolongs elegantly and softly into the tilted rear window. Seen from the side, the short distance between the two axles is noted and the entirely disappearing windows as usual with Mercedes sport models without the B-column.

Distinctive and elegantly at the same time: the corrugated blinkers at front and rear.

We got our CarMANT 350 SLC through an auction.
And wqe had her fully restored:

Inclusive of the power sun roof and windows and the original Becker-Mexico-Radio of 1978 with automatic antenna in the rear mudwing and 4-fold Ssereo sound system.

PÖlus a navigation system for right tracking on the romantic road of Europe.

Finally a short video of the Mercedes-Benz 350 SLC Coupe which we found at YouTube.
