The Feeling of a South Seas Yacht

is mediated by the Excalibur Phaeton V on four (six) wheels.

Anchors Aweigh! Cast Off! Start the Engine! .. and latest now you feel the breeze, the excess:

the excess of luxury of long past days, the excess of touring fun and the elegance driven by the nearly 300 horse powers of a Chevrolet Corvette C4.

The German brothers Friedrich (1876-1932) and August (1979-1955) Düsenberg built in Iowa, USA, 1913 their first “Duesey”, won the race in Le Mans 1923 and culminated with opulent luxurious state coaches in the 1930s. 1936 was their final business year and today, over 70 years later, approx. half of the over 600 cars built by Gebr. Düsenberg are still existing as classic cars with an estimated average value of 1 million US-Dollar.
The English saying “It’s a doozy!” (dialect for beautiful) was transformed to “It’s a duesey!” still today standing for extravagance.

“It’s a Duesey!”

Our CarMANT Flag-Roadster of special class is equippped with every chicanery:

The very comfortable luxury roadster has 4 chromium spoke wheels with 2 white covered side mounts, 2 chromium search lights, 3 chromium main lights, 4 befitting fanfares, many electrical assistents and an air conditioning unit named “North Pole”.

Our Excalibur Phaeton V is the right partner for a sunday’s getaway into the fields, as a reliable escort to a special family picknick, is available at all times, during summer with the softtop, during winter with her snow-white hardtop.

The 4/5-seater roadster looks like the noble choaches of the “Roaring Twenties” making her a real headturner in all streets.
Something historical: the tradename Excalibur was first used in 1951 by Brooks Stevens in Milwaukee, Wiskonsin, USA. Since the early 1960s he used large engines and built the Excalibur SSK Roadster based on Chevrolet in the mid 1960s. Since1967 he added the Excalibur SS Phaeton, cars which were built until the late 1980s, from the Roadster to the Phaeton to the saloon cars, all beased on highly dependable Chevrolets.
